Brief

From the Root is a commissioned artwork created by one of the partners of a construction firm as a personal and symbolic gift for his business partner. The goal was to capture, in a poetic and visual way, the kind of work they share—one that begins from within, requiring vision, patience, and a solid foundation. Using the metaphor of a tree, the piece honors not only visible growth, but everything that holds it up: brave decisions, shared experiences, learning, and commitment.

Space

The artwork was designed to integrate harmoniously into a contemporary, calm environment with natural materials—such as an executive office, meeting room, or a meaningful space within the home. Its symbolic yet understated aesthetic pairs well with wood, stone, polished concrete, and natural greenery. It adds emotional depth and quiet reflection to the space, without disrupting its architectural elegance.

Outcome
