This piece portrays a woman who’s had enough. Enough of notifications, forced conversations, and the algorithm. There’s no app-based mindfulness here, no candles named something ridiculous like “Nordic Inner Peace Mist”—just green tiles, warm water, and the glorious right to declare yourself your own sovereign state.
She’s not hiding. She’s on emotional strike. She’s, as your therapist might say, “holding herself from a place of radical authenticity.” Or, more plainly put: she’s over it.
A tribute to Do Not Disturb, to leave me alone, and to the fine art of surviving an average Tuesday without having to smile at anyone. Because there’s beauty in switching your phone to airplane mode and saying: “I’m not going to be pleasant right now, and that’s perfectly okay.”
And yes, maybe she’ll be back tomorrow. But today, the only notification that matters is: Do Not Disturb.

A floating wooden frame — available in a range of finishes — sits a few millimetres from the canvas edge, creating a soft shadow gap that gives the artwork a subtle “floating” effect. The result is a clean, elevated presentation that brings any image to life.

Our box frame is milled from solid ash, hand-stained by our team and finished with a specialist wax to accentuate the grain. The frame has a box profile measuring 20mm (front face) by 33mm (depth from wall).
Available in natural, black and white, all our frames are created from sustainably sourced wood. With each being hand-made and hand-finished, the corners are carefully glued, sealed and sanded.

Your order is then placed into a robust 100% sustainably sourced recyclable cardboard tube.
Our team ships your order, ensuring your prints are delivered safely.
Framed prints are securely shipped in heavy-duty cardboard boxes, with additional bubble wrap for extra cushioning.
Your framed or mounted art prints are protected on all sides with recyclable and biodegradable wrapping materials.
Strong recyclable archival foam made from recycled materials is then carefully fitted to make sure no damage can occur in transit.
Your order is placed into extra protective 100% sustainably sourced and recyclable card packaging ready for dispatch.
We are committed to sustainability and are actively working to minimize the use of bubble wrap in our supply chain. Whenever possible, we use recyclable bubble wrap, which can be disposed of at designated collection points.
